About the author
Leah Mether is a communication specialist obsessed with making the people part of leadership and work life easier.
She is a speaker, trainer, mentor and author known for her practical, relatable, straight-shooting style.
With a background in leadership, corporate communications and journalism, Leah works with leaders and teams across Australia to help them self-manage under pressure, defuse conflict, build relationships of influence, and communicate effectively.
Her work is based on the belief that “soft” skills get hard results and no-one is a perfect communicator, everyone can improve.
Steer Through the Storm is Leah’s second book for leaders.
Her first Soft is the New Hard: How to Communicate Effectively Under Pressure was a finalist in the Australian Career Book of the Year Awards in 2020.
Leah lives in the small town of Willow Grove in Gippsland, Victoria overlooking Blue Rock Lake and the Baw Baw ranges, and is the mother of three energetic sons.
